After growing up in the Chicago suburb of Glen Ellyn, Kate's interests in broadcast journalism and film led her to Indiana University Bloomington, where she earned her Bachelor's degree. What began as an internship with independent production studio Optimus turned out to be an amazing career opportunity: Over more than 10 years, Kate rose to the post of Producer Design & VFX, working on projects spanning commercials, TV series, and feature films. From there, she joined specialized creative agency Leviathan as a Producer, contributing to highly innovative projects ranging from award-winning digital art and experiential installations for the Shops at 900 North Michigan and Northwestern Mutual, to the Super Mario World theme-park attraction. After spending two years with Flavor as a Producer, Kate became Senior Producer at Carbon, where she developed high-profile brand campaigns, including BBH New York’s multiple award-winning “Black-Owned Friday” spot for Google. In 2022, Kate returned to Flavor as Executive Producer to support the dynamic company's global growth. |
