Director/DP Dan Waymack Signs with Dictionary Films

CHICAGO and LOS ANGELES—(Oct. 2, 2014)—Dictionary Films managing director Chris Rossiter is very proud to announce the signing of award-winning director and director of photography Dan Waymack to his directorial roster. Waymack recently delivered his first commercial project produced through Dictionary, supporting the Bud Light Whatever USA campaign from Energy BBDO.

"I'm thrilled to have Dan a part of Dictionary," Rossiter began. "We've known each other a long time, going back to my time as EP on the U.S. Army business for Leo Burnett. We all are extremely grateful to Energy BBDO for the opportunity to go to bat for them and their clients at Bud Light, and feel it was the perfect project to demonstrate our strengths with Dan Waymack at the helm."

Waymack brings Dictionary a great deal of experience expertly directing and shooting high-profile projects for major clients including Allstate, Kellogg's and Kimberly-Clark, as well as the U.S. Army and many others. Over the past ten years, he has served as founder and partner at the Little Rock-based production company Service Station. The :30 national broadcast spot for Bud Light also reflects the hard work and talents of Cutters editor Jacob Kuehl as well as Another Country's Drew Weir and their colleagues.

"Dan thrives on making it happen by rolling up his sleeves and creating arresting visuals with everyone from celebrities to real people, in both narrative and documentary-style storytelling," Rossiter added.

"Working with Jacob and Cutters for Energy BBDO and Bud Light was a great experience, and that close working connection is one of the reasons I am especially happy to have landed with Dictionary Films," Waymack said. "This collaboration worked very well and it was great fun. I am already looking forward to our next project together."
