Award-winning design and digital production company Thornberg and Forester (TandF) has created a brilliant opening title sequence entitled "FRANCO" for The Comedy Central Roast of James Franco. The Roast had its broadcast premiere on Labor Day and it will be rebroadcast many times on the network over the weeks ahead, including this Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Along with conceiving and creating the :70 main titles in its NYC studio, TandF's LA team delivered a comprehensive show package, consisting of transitions, logo loops, talent cards and navigation graphics for the program.

Along with editing the multi-screen game trailer, Leviathan also experimented with blending existing game visuals with new 2D and 3D elements, giving the stage screens the appearance of a giant command center. Audience engagement was heightened even more by the physical magnitude of the extended stage, and the perfectly jarring theatrical sound treatment from Leviathan's project partner, Waveplant.

Ident for The Vilcek Foundation from Valiant Pictures + TandF Set For Theatrical Premiere at 33rd HIFF

This new ident was developed in collaboration with the Vilcek Foundation's executive director Rick Kinsel. "This was not an easy task," said Kinsel. "We knew it would be difficult to convey all that we do in 30 seconds, so instead we wanted to find a way to condense it all into a feeling of creativity, simplicity, and joy, while remaining within our preferred aesthetic." TandF was invited to take part in this project by the founding partners of Valiant Pictures, Vincent Lin and Matthew D'Amato. The two oversaw every aspect of the project, from the initial concepts to careful revisions, to ensure it met the high expectations of the foundation. Justin Meredith led the project for TandF's team, which was chosen for its sharp design sensibility and past record of award-winning work.

Opened by Queen Margrethe of Denmark on 20 June, the large-scale special exhibition featuring items from museums in 12 European countries is a collaboration of the British Museum in London and Museum für Vor und Frühgeschichte - Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, where the exhibition will appear in 2014 and 2015, respectively. For now, it occupies the National Museum of Denmark, where it will run on through 17 November.
